Homestead based Southland Animal Hospital & Boarding excels in the science of Veterinary Medicine and was founded in 1952, making it the oldest animal hospital in the south Miami-Dade county area.
In 2005, Southland Animal Hospital & Boarding was aqcuired by Dr. Jose F. Toledo and underwent a radical turn-around to become one of the most important animal hospitals in South Miami-Dade and the Florida Keys. Since then Dr. Toledo and our great staff have excelled in compassionate and personalized veterinary care in these areas of South Florida.

We provide friendly, informative, and supportive services for you and your Pet, while maintaining a superior working environment for our Team Members.
Southland Animal Hospital & Boarding offers the Homestead and Florida Keys animal communities emergency, medical, surgical, preventive and dental veterinary care amongst other services; as well as an air-conditioned BOARDING facility. With an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, and access to specialists, our facility offers a one stop for your Pet's health and medical care.
